We have many blessings here in Collier County and yet the fight against poverty continues. Studies show that rents and prices are increasing and wages are not keeping pace. Employment at the lower end of the spectrum continues to be extremely seasonal.
A 2015 study reported that the Naples-Immokalee-Marco Island area has the highest rate of income inequality in the country. 28,000 children from needy families are being fed free breakfast and lunch in the public schools in Collier County. The need continues to be great, exceptional, and serious.
Your donations of money and resellable merchandise are always appreciated and are used to provide aid to those in need, at home, here in Collier County.
St. Vincent dePaul, Naples District is a 501 3(c) charity, and as such, your contributions of money and merchandise are tax-deductible.
